The lecture will provide a unique industry perspective on pediatric clinical trials from UCB.
The seminar will also provide a unique industry perspective on pediatric clinical trials from UCB. The comparison will be both enlighting for pediatricians within clinical trials, as well as adult physicians since similar principles apply and a low inclusion of vulnerable populations are also present such as ultrarare disease patients and geriatric populations. There will be possibilities to ask questions and interact.
The seminar will be supported by the Belgian Pediatric Clinical Research Network (BPCRN), involving 15 connected hospitals as well within Belgium as well as multidisciplinary connection necessary for trials such as pharmacy, laboratory, and others; as well as researchers within our department internal medicine and pediatrics.
