Dr. Nele Ameloot is IOF business developer for the BioMolecules consortium. She has a strong track record in valorization of bioeconomy and industrial biotech processes.

With a background as Marketing and R&D manager in a substrate company, she was involved in developing new business models for innovative bio-based products.

Her role as IOF Business developer is to identify and market valorizable research, to negotiate contracts and licensing agreements, to mature spin-offs, and to find cooperations with industry, government and other valorization centers.

She has frequent contacts and good collaborations with businesses and start-up companies in the biotech field in North-America.
