Jan Van Bocxlaer

My background is pharmaceutical (PharmD and PhD) and as such highly interested in applied science collaboration with pharmaceutical companies.

Many of the major pharmaceutical companies with research divisions are North America based, hence my interests. In the broader region, a number of leading schools of Pharmacy can be found involved in emerging technologies in e.g. large molecule drugs, sometimes by means of small spin-offs.

My involvement in the NAP is from a broader managerial perspective as dean, in representing the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in support of faculty members with bilateral scientific contacts and looking for opportunities for collaboration for the faculty or the larger Ghent biopharmaceutics community.
