Arianna Zanatta
My name is Arianna Zanatta and I come from Italy. Prior to my PhD, I studied a Master in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Padova. In addition, as part of a one-year specialization course in Clinical Neuropsychology, I also developed skills in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, across the lifespan.
My research interests include, early interventions, neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ASD, and the use of neurophysiological and neuroimaging techniques (EEG and fNIRS)
I am currently working on a project that aims to test whether an intervention approach that involves modifying parent recognition of and response to their young child impacts on child social communication outcomes and neural response to social (and non-social) stimuli (using EEG and fNIRS). The intervention is conducted with 9- to 18-month-old infants at elevated likelihood of atypical social outcomes due to having an older sibling with an ASD diagnosis or being born prematurely.
