Age-of-acquisition ratings
Age-of-acquisition ratings for 2332 Dutch words from 49 different semantic categories
These norms were collected by asking 142 participants to indicate for a set of 389 or 388 words at which age they thought they had learned them. More details on this study can be found in Ghyselinck, M., Custers, R., & Brysbaert M. (2003). Age-of-acquisition ratings for 2332 Dutch words from 49 different semantic categories. Psychologica Belgica, 43-3, 181-214.
The norms can be downloaded and/or consulted for research purposes, provided that all publications based on research with these norms cite the Ghyselinck, Custers and Brysbaert study. Note that the norms are for non-profit use only.
