Xinlei Li obtained her bachelor’s degree in pedagogy (majoring in language education) in 2016 and a master’s degree in pedagogy (majoring in comparative education) in 2019. Since then, she has been working as a doctoral researcher at the Department of Educational Studies of Ghent University within the research group Measuring Effectiveness and Technology in Schools (METiS). Her research focuses on the computational thinking integrated into the English language curriculum, the assessment of teachers’ computational thinking competence and their cognition about curriculum integration, also the effectiveness of curriculum integration design and implementation outcomes. Xinlei also has a keen interest in interdisciplinary education, computer science, education policy, comparing curricula and pedagogical innovations, technology enhanced learning and teaching.
