Unhealthy Food Marketing
CEPEC takes part in the European research project SUNRISE, funded by the Horizon Europe program. This is a five-year research project to develop and test interventions that aim to prevent cancer through behaviour changes in adolescence in eight European countries. CEPEC will focus on unhealthy food marketing and health literacy promotion. We will develop two interventions in the shape of serious games and an influencer campaign to help adolescents resist unhealthy food marketing messages and make more healthy food choices.
Emma Beuckels, Steffi De Jans, Dieneke Van de Sompel and Liselot Hudders are involved in this project and Jolien De Clercq takes part in this project as part of her PhD.
