Bram Hartmann
Biography
Bram Hartmann obtained his Bachelor's degree in marketing at Hogeschool Gent and after this he obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences at Ghent University in 2021, specializing in communication management. For his master thesis he conducted research on smartphone policies among secondary schools in Flanders.
After his studies, he developed a great interest in conducting research and started working for almost two years as a researcher at Ipsos, a commercial market research company.
However, he is currently working as a researcher at the university of Ghent because of his interest in academic research. He is the coordinator of GAMSPON project, an interdisciplinary research project, which aims to examine whether gambling sponsorships impact gambling prevalence, and if so, how and to what extent. Insights from this project will lead to the formulation of policy guidelines with regard to the regulation of gambling sponsorships to better protect gamblers.
