Biography

In 2016, I obtained my PhD degree in Social Sciences: Communication Sciences at the University of Antwerp, funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). Afterwards, I was appointed as the project coordinator of the VLAIO AdLit project, which is short for advertising literacy. In October 2018, I obtained a BOF scholarship. As a postdoctoral researcher, I am investigating influencer marketing, adolescents’ identity formation and consumer socialization. Methodologically, I have gained experience with experimental methods and structural equation modeling. Next to these quantitative methods, I have been involved in projects using qualitative methods, such as focus groups and interviews.
