Hanne Van Haelter holds a master’s degree in Communication Sciences, specializing in Film- and Television Studies. In October 2019, she started working at the Department of Communication Sciences, doing research on the project ‘Sexual Diversity on the Small Screen', together with Prof. dr. Sofie Van Bauwel and Prof. dr. Frederik Dhaenens.
As of September 2020, Hanne has been working as a teaching assistant in the interuniversity (UGent/VUB) ‘Bachelor of science in Social Sciences’ program. She is furthermore working on a PhD-project about music and national identity, at Ghent University and under the supervision of Prof. dr. Frederik Dhaenens and Prof. dr. Sofie Van Bauwel.
