Jono Van Belle is a postdoctoral researcher at the CIMS. She acquired a Bachelor degree in Audiovisual Techniques at Narafi Brussels in 2007. Her graduation film ’13-04’ was nominated for several film festivals and awarded at Het Grote Ongeduld. While working at various national and international audiovisual companies such as Woestijnvis, VRT and MTV Stockholm, she completed her Master in Communication Sciences with great distinction at Ghent University in 2013. She currently supports the course Audiovisual Communication. Her PhD-research, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stijn Joye, focuses on love in the films and TV-series of Ingmar Bergman.
