Estefanya Vazquez-Casaubon is a Ph.D. fellow at the Department of Communication at Ghent University. She obtained a Master’s degree in Social and Cognitive Psychology (specifically Multidisciplinary Perspectives in cognition, PEPSCO) at the University of Toulouse, Fr. This master inspired her to continue in research and pursue a Ph.D. in the topic of sustainability.
She started her PhD project in 2021 funded by the Research Fundation Flanders (FWO) under the supervision of Prof. dr. Veroline Cauberghe and Prof. dr. Dieneke Van de Sompel. Her project is focused on different communicational strategies and their mechanisms to promote sustainable water usage.
She is currently part of the steering committee of the YSN (Young Scholars Network) at NeFCA (Netherlands-Flanders Communications Association).
