Internationalisation
The Department of Communication Sciences greatly values the importance of internationalisation. It is seen as beneficial to both the educational and research quality. Furthermore, international experience can give students a strong edge in today’s job market. Many companies view the ability to work and study in an international and multicultural environment as a strong advantage.
During the 3rd year of your Bachelor and during the Master studies you are given the chance of taking up part of your curriculum abroad. Ghent University offers a wide array of opportunities to study in or outside of Europe.
Erasmus+ is the most important and most well-known programme that promotes student mobility. Our Communication Sciences programme has exchange agreements with over 35 foreign partner institutions (Dutch).
If you are interested in an international study experience, be sure to check out the department’s exchange website and add the dates of upcoming info sessions to your calendar.
