Dr. Audrey Vandeleene

Audrey is a voluntary postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science of Ghent University. Her research interests cover party politics, intra-party democracy, electoral systems, women-in-politics, federalism and political discourse. Audrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the UCLouvain and a Master’s degree in Public Management from Ghent University. Her doctoral work (2016, UCLouvain) handled a comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of candidate selection processes in Belgian political parties. She previously worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Lund University in Sweden (2017-2019).
