I am assistant professor of International Political Economy. My research lies at the intersection of Comparative and International Political Economy.

More specifically, I am interested in applying concepts of the comparative capitalisms literature to various themes of the political economy of international monetary and financial relations. The results of my research have been published in various top journals such as New Political Economy, Review of International Political Economy, European Journal of International Relations, Journal of Common Market Studies and others. I am the author of Power and Imbalances in the Global Monetary System: A Comparative Capitalism Perspective (Palgrave, 2014) and Crisis and Inequality: The Political Economy of Democratic Capitalism (Polity, 2020) and co-author of Rising Powers and Economic Crisis in the Euro Area (Palgrave 2016).
