Relations in Flanders wave 2

Description

Relations in Flanders wave 2 is a large-scale, in-depth multi-actor study on relationship formation and dissolution. Following a successful first wave of data collection (2009-2010), the second wave of the project is currently in process. The first wave had a significant impact on both scientific and knowledge and (family) policy. The goal of this second wave is to gather current relevant data to map out relationships between various family members and to support (ex-)partners and families. Specifically, a new cross-sectional wave sample is being drawn, in which respondents are surveyed in the same way as in the first wave. This involves using a multi-actor design where partners, ex-partners, a co-habitating child, a non-cohabitating child and any new partners are surveyed. The study is funded by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO).
