Faculty Departments
Departments are organizational units that group related research areas within a faculty. They are responsible for the teaching and research activities within those research areas. The Faculty of Law and Criminology has three departments:
- Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law
- European, Public and International Law
- Criminology, Penal Law and Social Law
Faculty Research Groups
The staff members of the departments are often also members of a research group or research institute, where all research in a particular field is consolidated. High-quality research requires collaboration. Therefore, we bring together various expertise around a specific topic, across departments.
