Celia Challet
Celia Challet is a doctoral researcher in the Ghent European Law Institute (GELI). Her doctoral research focuses on the judicial review of EU restrictive measures adopted since 2014 in response to the crisis in Ukraine, and since 2022 in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The project is carried out under the supervision of Prof. dr. Van Elsuwege. Celia is also research coordinator of the Multidisciplinary International Network on Sanctions (MINOS). Her other research interests include EU external relations, the EU Neighborhood Policy, and EU constitutional and institutional law.
Celia holds a Master’s degree in European Business Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (2018) and an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (2019).
