Jan Bocken

Jan Bocken has been a teaching assistant at the Ghent European Law Institute since 1998. He works as a lawyer, focusing on competition law matters, and has been a member of the Brussels bar since 2002. He is also Honorary Consul-General of the Netherlands.

Jan Bocken holds a Master in Laws from Ghent University (1997) and an LLM from Lund University, Sweden.

Jan focuses on Belgian and European competition law, state aid, and more generally the functioning of the internal market.
