Biografie
Eva obtained her master's degree in law from KU Leuven (Magna Cum Laude) in 2022. In 2018, she also obtained a master's degree in Language and Literature (Magna Cum Laude). During her time as a student, she interned at various institutions and organisations. In 2021, Eva worked as a legal intern in the House of Representatives, where she collaborated on the bill to criminalise ecocide. Eva interned six months in 2020 for the human rights organisation Human Rights Watch.
During her undergraduate law degree, Eva was selected to participate in the course "Sexual Minority Rights in Africa" (University of Pretoria) in South Africa. She also participated in a variety of activities such as the Frits Kalshoven Moot Court, extracurricular seminars on Human Rights Advocacy and the Constitutional Court, and summer schools such as "Contemporary Challenges in Public International Law" (LSE) and "LGBT rights from a European perspective" (Radboud University). Eva also combined her studies with volunteer work to promote the social position of students. She co-founded the diversity platform Undivided, which allowed students with minority characteristics to contribute directly to KU Leuven's diversity policy. She was also writer and editor of social affairs at Veto, the Leuven student newspaper.
