Biography

Lennert DierickxLennert Dierickx is a lawyer (member of the bar of Dendermonde - Belgium). Next to his profession as a lawyer, he’s a teaching assistant to professor Ellen Desmet (migration law). He obtained a master’s degree in law at Ghent University (2014), and also holds a certificate of specialization in cassation procedure in penal matters (2017).

As a lawyer, Lennert was involved in various proceedings before the Council for Alien Law Litigation as well as procedures at the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons.

Lennert has experience with several aspects of migration law such as asylum, family reunification, medical and humanitarian regularizations and the recognition of statelessness.
