Wout Van Doren is a lawyer specialized in migration law since 2015. He currently works for the international law firm Fragomen in Brussels, where he leads the Private Clients Practice and Pro Bono initiatives, and is responsible for knowledge management for Belgium. Wout also worked as a consultant for UNHCR and Nansen (the Belgian Refugee Council), primarily on the rights of stateless persons. From 2016 to 2021 Wout was a teaching assistant at KU Leuven where he supervised seminars and master theses in the field of human rights. Since October 2021 Wout is a teaching assistant at Ghent University where he supports the course on migration law (in Dutch) and street law, and supervises master theses on migration law.
