Margot Timmers

Short Bio

Margot is a part-time researcher in the research group Law & Technology at Ghent University. She is affiliated with the department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law.

Margot takes part in the interdisciplinary FWO research project SCAFFOLD. This research project aims to, based on scientific research, design an ePortfolio that gives healthcare students maximum support in their competence growth. Her research focusses on the legal implications of e-Portfolios in health and educational settings.

Margot obtained her Master of Laws degree at KU Leuven (cum laude) in 2022.

She was admitted to the Antwerp Bar in 2022 as an associate lawyer in IP, IT and data protection law matters.
