Jarich Werbrouck

Jarich Werbrouck is doctoral researcher at Ghent University, funded by the Research Foundation Flanders.

After obtaining his master of laws from that same university in 2017, he started his research in February 2018. His research focuses on the impact of EU consumer law and the case law of the Court of Justice on national procedural law. Other interests of Jarich include a.o. substantive consumer law and product liability law.

He publishes on a regularly basis in both national and international journals. From October 2021 onwards, Jarich will be a judicial trainee. Consequently, he plans to finalize his PhD by the end of September 2021.
