Joke Torreele

Joke has been an academic assistant in the field of Public Procedural Law since 2017.

Her doctoral research is centred on the admissibility procedure within the cassation jurisdiction of the (Belgian) Council of State. More precisely, she researches whether or not this admissibility procedure is efficient and tenable in practice, in the light of its objectives and from the viewpoint of legal protection and the principles of due process.

Joke obtained her master's degree in law (2016) and her master's degree in notarial law (2017) from Ghent University. She publishes in the field of public (procedural) law.
