Tijl De Jaeger

Tijl De Jaeger is a prosecutor for the public prosecutor's office East Flanders.

Previously he worked as a lawyer (2011-2014), and afterwards as an academic researcher at the Institute for Procedural Law, Ghent University (2014-2019).

In September 2020, he obtained his PhD at Ghent University with a doctoral thesis entitled "Towards a better civil procedural law through data gathering and diligent procedural conduct". He remains attached to the Institute for Procedural Law and publishes in the field of civil procedural law.
