Research
The mission of the research group Law & Technology is to understand how technology affects human, children’s and consumer rights, to study whether and how technology-related phenomena should be regulated and to evaluate the potential of technology to facilitate or enrich legal processes.
In our research we adopt fundamental rights-based, intra/interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approaches. We aim to contribute to a fair and rights-respecting digital society by formulating recommendations for policymakers, authorities and industry, by including stakeholders in our research and by translating it for citizens in general, and vulnerable groups in particular
