Documents not issued by Ghent University
A certified (true) copy is a copy made by an individual or institution authorised to do so, in this case, the academic institution or university that granted your transcripts/diploma/supplements/certificate.
They stamp the copy, thereby attesting that it is a true copy of the original document.
Usually the individual or institution who issued the said document, can also deliver a certified copy of the document. The institution can also e-mail a certified copy to Ghent University.
