Tuition Fee Master Programme (not Advanced) and Master's Programme in Teaching 2023-2024

Non-EEA students

The tuition fee (A or B) consists of the fixed amount and a standard tuition fee + a higher tuition fee set by the faculty.
The tuition can differ from one faculty to another.

Tuition Fee A

Standard tuition fee (€ 282.10 fixed amount + € 15.90 per credit) + higher tuition fee (€ 14.70 per credit)
For 60 credits: € 2118.10

  • Faculty of Law and Criminology
  • Faculty of Sciences
    From the academical year 2024-2025 on; the Faculty of Sciences will ask for the tuition fee B for all new enrolments.
    Students who enrolled in the AY 2023-2024 and will re-enroll in the AY 2024-2025 keep paying the tuition A.

  • Faculty of Political and Social Sciences

Tuition Fee B

Standard tuition fee (€ 282.10 fixed amount + € 27 per credit) + higher tuition fee (€ 77.30 per credit)
For 60 credits: € 6540.10

  • Faculty of Engineering and Architecture
  • Faculty of Economics and Business Administration
  • Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
  • Faculty of Bioscience Engineering
  • Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

EEA-students and non-EEA-students who pay the same tuition fee as EEA-students

The tuition fee consists of the standard tuition fee as for EEA-students (diploma or credit contract):
  • € 282.10 fixed amount + € 13.50 per credit. For 60 credits: € 1092.10
  • € 128.80 (flat fee) for students with a study allowance Flemish Community ("Studietoelage Vlaamse overheid")
  1. Applicants for international protection (persons with a legal residence but who's application for international protection is still pending with the government) pay the tuition fee as for EEA-students with no study allowance from the Flemish government.
  2. Electronic Residence Card (mentioned in Art. II.215 Codex Higher Education)
  3. Non-EEA students who are family members of a national of a member state of the European Economic Area
  4. VLIR-UOS scholarship holders - UGent document needed upon enrolment
  5. Student from OESO/DAC recognised developing country (lowest 2 categories)
  6. Top-Up Grant student
  7. Interuniversity and International Master (not advanced) Programmes

Interfaculty and interuniversity Programmes with an exceptional fee for non-EEA students

Standard tuition fee (€ 282.10 fixed amount + € 15.90 per credit) + higher tuition fee (€ 14.70 per credit)

€ 400 fixed amount + € 90 per credit
