Research Units
The research that is being carried out at the Department of Geology can be grouped under three main themes: "Global Change Geology","Earth Materials and Georesources" and "Earth Science and Environment"
The research within these three main themes is conducted within a number of separate research groups, each consisting of doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers, led by one or more professors:
- Laboratory of Applied Geology and Hydrogeology (LTGH)
- Mineralogy & Petrology Research Unit (MinPet)
- Paleontology and Paleo Environments Research Unit
- Pore-scale Processes in Geomaterials (PProGRess) Research Unit
- Renard Centre of Marine Geology Research Uni (RCMG)
