Introduction
Prof. Marieke De Craemer has a strong academic foundation in health promotion and behavioral science. Her research incorporates 24-hour movement behaviors, including physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep. Her work is centered around designing effective interventions together with the target population with the aim to promote healthy lifestyles in clinical populations. Recognized for her innovative research methods, Prof. De Craemer already received the Kathy Lindekens award for most patient-centred project.
