Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance and Taxation

Education

The department of Accounting, Corporate Finance and Taxation plays a central part in various academic programmes and majors taught within the faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

In addition to a number of central courses within the Bachelor programmes Economics, Business Economics, Business Engineering and Business Adminiastration, the department is responsible for two majors in the Master of Business Economics (Accountancy and Corporate Finance) and for a major in the Master in Business Administration (Taxation). The department is also involved in the further development of the major Financial Engineering within the programme Master in Business Engineering. Finally, the department provides a number of the elective courses in the programme (complementary study) Master in Business Economics.

In addition to courses at the faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the department is also responsible for several courses taught at various other faculties of Ghent University.
