Prof. Dr. Isabelle Verleyen

Isabelle Verleyen (PhD in Business Economics, Ghent University, 2015) is an Assistant Professor of Taxation at the Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance and Taxation at Ghent University since 2019. Her research focusses on international taxation and tax behaviour of multinational groups. Her current projects examine corporate tax avoidance and its relationship with corporate social responsibility, stakeholder perceptions of tax avoidance, green tax incentives and tax incentives for R&D. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including CESifo Economic studies, Economist, Journal of Business Economics and Management, Energy Policy and Society and Business Review.
