The Event
Think & Talk, the umbrella honours program of the five Alfa faculties brings together students and experts to look at big issues that concern our society today from different perspectives.
One of the themes this year was 'tax avoidance in the welfare state'. As the icing on the cake of their wonderful journey, Hasna Belachqr, Jacob Van Belle, Jana Dekerf, Mathijs Clement and Thomas Suys developed the three-part podcast series Taxes 101. They were guided by the experts Prof. Dr. Annelies Roggeman (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), Prof. Dr. Bart Peeters (Faculty of Law and Criminology) and Prof. Dr. Dries Lesage (Faculty of Political and Social Sciences).
