Debate on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in the labor market
The FEB Committee for Diversity and Inclusion is more than excited to invite you to a Debate on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in the labor market that will take place on November 5th. D&I is increasingly recognized as a strategic pillar within large companies, governments, universities and non-profit organizations in particular, and is considered an important precondition for excellence and innovation. To solve a complex problem, usually a better result is obtained when a team of talented people with different backgrounds and perspectives (gender, age, experience, ethnic-cultural diversity, disability,…) dares to think together than when the smartest minds of similar background of the organization are brought together. This is evident from various studies from both the academic and business world. Achieving greater innovation and excellence requires a more inclusive talent-centric approach. Ghent University wants to enter into a debate about this together with its external stakeholders.
The Diversity and Inclusion debate is an initiative of:
- The Committee for Diversity and Inclusion of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Ghent University
