PhD in Economics

Our PhD programme is designed for students seeking to conduct original research in Economics. Under the guidance of our experienced academic staff, students can specialize in a variety of research fields within economics. In addition to your research, we provide advanced training through a Doctoral Training Programme offered by the Doctoral Schools. You will complete several specialized courses to build the necessary background knowledge and methodological skills relevant to your research area. Some courses are mandatory, while others will be recommended by your doctoral advisory committee. You will also participate in three transferable skills trainings, organized or recognized by the Doctoral School, chosen from the following clusters: ‘Communication Skills’, ‘Research & Valorization’, ‘Leadership & Personal Efficiency’, and ‘Career Management’. The PhD degree is awarded upon the successful defense of your thesis.
