Service Design and Innovation
In the domain of service design and innovation, the main research interests of the Center for Service Intelligence – Ghent University (CSI-UGent) relate to:
- Engaging different actors (such as customers or employees) or multi-actors networks/systems (such as inter-organizational networks) in service innovation
- The development of new services with a human-touch or high-tech services
- (Re-)designing service operations and (multilevel) service design
- Customer participation and outsourcing services to third parties
- Social acceptance and legitimation of service innovation
Building upon this research expertise, CSI-UGent offers interactive workshops to guide managers involved in service design and innovation with specific attention for service blueprinting, service design, and design thinking.
