Transformative Service – Healthcare and Welfare Services

The Center for Service Intelligence – Ghent University (CSI-UGent) has significant research experience in relation to a wide range of service topics in healthcare and welfare contexts, including but not limited to social care, home care, mental healthcare, palliative care, cancer care, nursing homes, hospitals, and networks. The most important research expertise in the healthcare and welfare context relates to:

• Optimizing healthcare and welfare processes and operations
• Establishing and managing healthcare and welfare networks
• Change and transformations of healthcare and welfare systems

Building upon this research expertise, CSI-UGent offers lectures and interactive workshops to healthcare and welfare managers interested in (1) customer/patient journey mapping and making process flow charts and (2) network governance and performance management.
