An international workshop aims to help early PhD and master's students enhance research, expertise and communication.
A group of international academicians from Belgium, Canada, Germany and China will enlighten you on various aspects that will help you to become more proficient in researching, building expertise and communicating your research. The ultimate goal of this workshop series is to encourage, mentor and guide beginning researchers to grow an impact-full career into the future.
This workshop is particularly aimed at early PhD students, but will also benefit master dissertation students. The workshop starts with more efficiently building your knowledge through effective note-taking. Next, practical tips and advise to successfully launch into a scientific career is given.
Three subsequent contributions focus on a major deliverable of the researcher: the scientific publication. First, the overall principles of setting out for effective scientific communication are highlighted. Then, two remaining contributions zoom in on peer-reviewed research papers and review papers, respectively.
