To waste less paper, receipts are not printed anymore. If you would like a ticket, you can ask the cashier.
Would you like a sandwich but prefer a customized version? You can order your sandwich with extra requests until 10:00 AM via studentenrestaurants.ugent.be. Through the online order form, you can order both (customized and regular) sandwiches as well as salads. You choose when and at which location you pick up your order, and pay at the counter.

General information about the Ghent University student restaurants

Ghent University has a wide range of student restaurants. Staff are also welcome. They are all situated in the vicinity of the faculties. Service and food are of a high quality, the prices are the lowest in town.

In our cafeterias you can order breakfast pastry, sandwiches, soup and salad bowls. In our restaurants you will find the same offer plus warm dishes. A nice variety of pork, poultry, fish, veggie and vegan dishes are served everyday. All restaurants and cafeterias have a dining area. In the dining area there is a microwave at your disposal.

Do not forget to bring your student or personnel card with you: otherwise you must pay a higher price for your food. Ghent University students and personnel pay the price that is mentioned on the tv-screens, this is the subsidized price. The restaurants are open to everyone, however, depending on to which group you belong you pay a different price.

You can pay only pay cashless with a credit or debit card (bancontact, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard).

Phasing out of epurse payment system: From 5 February 2024, no payments will be accepted with epurse in the student restos. Did you use epurse only to pay in the restos and still have money left on your card? Apply for a refund before November 2024.
