Five environmental activists from African countries will talk about there struggles at the frontline against climate change and power imbalances.
The climate crisis is a social injustice crisis. People in the southern part of the world are affected way more by the effects of climate change, while they are the least responsible for the climate breakdown. A history and present of power imbalances, extractivism and exploitation, are causing a lot of harm. However, frontline climate defenders are fighting these injustices and holding the North responsible.
On the 5th of November, a few of these African defenders from the Agape Earth Coalition are joining us for an inspiring paneldebate about justice.
