Are you working on or with Latin America? Do you have specific questions on expertise at Ghent University with Latin-America? Are you interested in mobility, joint research options and events focusing on Chile? Join us on 24 April at the Ghent University Museum and Botanical Gardens.
During the Country Day Chile, we will share some new academic collaboration opportunities and funding possibilities and present the programme of the UGent mission to Chile (June 2025). Special focus on research opportunities linked to renewable energy and water (in collaboration with VLIZ – Vlaams Instituut voor de zee) and on Human Rights policies in the region.
Besides, Flanders Chancellery and Foreign Office will give insights on the 30 years collaboration with Chile. To conclude, some cultural highlights will be presented, supported by the Embassy of Chile and flavoured with a touch of local music.
