Be inspired by researchers and receive concrete tips and tools about research with impact during our circle talks!
Are you passionate about creating positive change? Do you sometimes struggle with making your academic research meaningful? Or just curious about what research with impact can mean?
Then you won’t want to miss this event! Get inspired by researchers whose work is transforming the world and leave the event with hands-on knowledge of tools and methods that help translate research into meaningful action.
We’ll start the evening with an introduction by Floor Verhaeghe. She’ll explain, among other things, what research with societal impact entails, what the benefits are for both the research subject and the researcher, and some inspiring examples.
After the break, there will be 2 parallel circle talks about research with impact. During the circle talks, concrete tools will be discussed to make your own (future) research (e.g. your thesis) impactful. You can choose beforehand if you want to talk with Floor Verhaeghe and Manon Bertrand, or Sarah Kasran and Jozefien De Marrée.
