Five day-long intensive program of interdisciplinary, student-led, critical, and engaged education on environmental justice and transformative futures
Sustainability Summer Schools are organized for and by students who aim to make interdisciplinary, student-led, critical, and engaged education on socio-ecological issues accessible for fellow students with diverse disciplinary backgrounds. It offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of pressing social and environmental issues and explore environmental justice as a transformative lens to imagine the future.
By actively working on problems with fellow students, you experience the challenge of uniting different visions in the search for solutions for an equitable society within planetary boundaries. The environmental justice lens is used to explore topics such as political ecologies, diverse economies, intersectional environmentalism, decolonization, eco-feminism, action & resistance, queer ecologies, and narratives on the role of technology.
The five-day program consists of workshops, lectures, field trips, and speed dates with various experts. Vegan lunch included!
