Chief logistics administrator

Jeroen Vanden BergheChief logistics administrator Jeroen Vanden Berghe and the chief academic administrator together form the Management Committee, lead by the Rector (vice-chancellor) and the Vice-Rector (deputy vice-chancellor).

The chief administrators are responsible for:

  • the day-to-day management of the university
  • the co-ordination of the university services.

The chief logistics administrator is in particular responsible for the steering of

  • University service Human Resources and Organisation (functional area Finance), together with the chief academic administrator (functional areas Human Resources, Governance - Legal Affairs - Compliance)
  • University service Campus and Building, ICT, Student Facilities (functional areas Information and Communication Technology, Campus and Building, Student Facilities).

The chief logistics administrator is also Sustainability Policy Coordinator and manager of the GUM (Ghent University Museum) and Botanical Garden.
