Management Committee

The general management of UGent is in the hands of the Rector, assisted by the Vice-Rector.

Under their direction, a Chief academic administrator and a Chief logistics aAdministrator are responsible for the daily management of the Central Administration.

Together, they form a Management Committee, which is responsible for the daily administrative, technical and financial management of the university and for coordinating the functioning of the administrative departments of the Central Administration:

• Department of Personnel and Organization
• Financial Department
• Department of Information and Communication Technology
• Department of Infrastructure and Facility Management
• Department of Student Facilities
