Launch Rainbow Network
The university wants to provide its employees with an informal forum to exchange experiences and to think along about bottlenecks and sustainable solutions related to the Rainbow-theme. The rainbow network is primarily intended for community building between employees who identify as gay, bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, polysexual (or romantic), lesbian, heteroflexible, queer* or questioning.
On October 11, 2022, the university organized the Launch of the Rainbow Network.

International Day Against Homosexuality and Transphobia (IDAHOT)
The 17th of May is the International Day Against Homosexuality and Transphobia (IDAHOT). The stories about gay bashing that have surfaced over the past year show that this day still has real value today. But what about gays and lesbians on the labor market in 2022? How are they perceived by recruiters? Researchers from UGent @ Work checked all positive and negative prejudices that were theoretically cited earlier in the scientific literature for their empirical value.
