Mobility monitor per faculty
On this page, we will concretise the objective of sustainable travel per faculty (and later per department) and monitor progress.
With this mobility barometer, we want to encourage you to look for a balance between two important objectives within your research group. On the one hand, there is the need for an academic institution to be internationally active and to exchange knowledge, experience and people. On the other hand, there is the need, again according to the academic world, to take into account the urgency of the climate issue.
Which flights are really necessary? Which contacts can just as well be made online? And which ones would it be better to take the train? At least 1/3 less CO2 emissions in the next 10 years is the goal but we strive for halve!
