The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) was set up for the period 2014-20, with a total of EUR 3.137 billion for the seven years. It will promote the efficient management of migration flows and the implementation, strengthening and development of a common Union approach to asylum and immigration.

The European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP) is the biggest EU research and innovation programme ever with over €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2021 - 2027) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. Research Fund for Coal and Steel
The Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) supports research and innovation projects in the areas of coal and steel.
Every year around €40 million is made available to universities, research centres and private companies to fund projects.
