Anouk Matthys
In 2022, I graduated as M.Sc. in Theoretical and Experimental Psychology at Ghent University. Ever since the start of my education I’ve been fascinated by health- and neuropsychology. My masters thesis was about attention and migraine. During my internship at the UC Louvain, I conducted an EEG study about attention and somatosensory stimulation. As a PhD candidate, I will be working on the EOS project: Belgian Language in Autism Study. In this project, in collaboration with other universities, we will conduct a longitudinal study on the language development in children with autism. I will specifically focus on EEG predictors for language development in young children with autism.
